Joe Orman received a call that there was a big tree blocking the trail from Limekiln towards West Hunt. A few of us (Joe Orman, Tom Canny, Bruce Decker, and Ruben & Susan Gallego) went out. It was a beautiful day and we weren’t sure what we would find. As you can see by the pictures that it was indeed a very large tree! Some people had started going around the tree, making a new trail. We removed the tree and blocked off the new trail. It’s important that as we ride in these beautiful places, that we don’t create new trails. The funny part about this cleanup is that there were two really nice gas chain saws, but the one that did most of the work was a little battery operated saw!
