This was a three OHV club ride, combining the Cedar City Trailblazers, the Garfield Rough Riders, and the Tushar Mountain ATV club. This ride was lead by Phil Bostrom, and all three club presidencies participated! There were 33 machines in all and the views up and back were great. It was interesting to learn about Cove Fort, as it was built as a place of safety for travelers heading north or south. The compound has 6 rooms on the north side that served as bedrooms, and 6 rooms on the south side that provided to everyone’s needs (ie. kitchen, telegraph, weaving loom, etc.). The ride was nearly 76 miles and the weather was perfect!
